Ramtil is an erect, stout, branched annual herb, grown for its edible oil and seed. Its cultivation originated in the Ethiopian highlands, and has spread to other parts of the world. The seed, technically a fruit called an achene, is often sold as bird feed.
Each one of the pieces is 100% handmade with real seeds,flowers and spices encapsulated in resin. The resin is pour in silicon molds and cures for 7 days. Once I remove it from the mold, I hand sand each piece through multiple grades of sandpaper to create a smooth, soft finish which shows in detail the object inside the resin.
Measurements: Collar length adjustable- min 14" max 24". Cross medallion height 2", width 1".
Since nature does not create two identical seeds, spices, and flowers, the shape and size of the nature being used in the decoration may not match.
